Pay Scale - Aide: $15-17/hour
Pay Scale - Assistant: $17-19/hour
Pay Scale - Teacher: $19-20/hour

Responsibilities in our Childcare Program:
  • Learn & implement the FrogStreet curriculum suitable for each specific age group of children
  • Support a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
  • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments through hands on modeling
    • Observe each child to help them improve their social skills and build self-esteem
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through FrogStreet's curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, create beautiful crafts, etc.)
  • Provided consistency with naps/rest period and meal time routines
  • Actively supervise children to ensure they are always safe; moving and grooving all day long!
  • Maintain an organized learning environment that is clean and tidy; consistent with health and safety standards
  • Track & document children’s learning progress and report to parents, Teachers are responsible for providing Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Communicate with parents daily to share our amazing learning opportunities, and to help understand the children’s background and psyche
  • Collaborate with other educators within our program! Knowledge is power!
Qualifications:
  • Aides must be at least 16 years of age to apply
  • Teacher and Assistant Teacher: must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma/GED
  • Teacher and Assistant Teacher: must include approved post-secondary education coursework, CDA, ECE Degree
  • 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility/equivalent is required for Assistant Teacher or Teacher qualified; and is preferred for Aides.
